Read more »MPD (Music Player Daemon) is simply a server side client for music playing. To control it you need a separate client (and there is definitely choices (both gui and cli). I’ll use in my example MPC which is very minimalist console client. I generally use ncmpcpp.

Read more »I used as a base of this layout Adam Wilcox’s 600px theme (I could probably rename it as 900px). Main reason was that it was one column and looked simple enough for me. I installed also bunch of plugins (I like that Habari is fairly nude and I can just add clothes on it the way I feel like):
I have now moved for real. Not all is in order yet, but most should be. I am also learning to use Habari which feels so much lighter and more comfortable to use after Wordpress, which was getting pretty heavy. I was also considering my favourite Textpattern but decided that I might as well try something new. Might be because I’m writing this after midnight, why I can’t really invent anything else to say (all I’m thinking is the colour of the links…). So I’ll just add a screenshot.

I wasn’t actually planning to change anything until umm in the summer. New domain, old place and stuff. I should mail to my host actually and ask about more details about these domain etc… matters because I have no clue. I hate mailing to them for some reason. Anyway thank you goes to person who bought me QueenPenguin.org (also thanks to Philip who gave me inspiration), it came out of blue definitely. I even went and made a new design myself with the little help of Gimp.
