Change of name

I wasn’t actually planning to change anything until umm in the summer. New domain, old place and stuff. I should mail to my host actually and ask about more details about these domain etc… matters because I have no clue. I hate mailing to them for some reason. Anyway thank you goes to person who bought me QueenPenguin.org (also thanks to Philip who gave me inspiration), it came out of blue definitely. I even went and made a new design myself with the little help of Gimp.

And this my readers is my desktop at moment.

And in the early days of April...

My March included a change. I have been using Xubuntu 9.10 last 11 days (according Identi.ca I dented 11 days ago that I am installing Xubuntu). Reason to this was that my CrunchBang Statler Alpha was unsuccessful. Live worked well but installing from USB stick didn’t work. I wasn’t really in mood for trying something completely different and spend another day for installing and tweaking, so I Xubuntu was my choice.

Icon theme for VolWheel

I made this little icon theme for VolWheel (and more info) so that it would fit better in my desktop. It’s nothing too fancy but I thought I would share it anyway. :) In case green isn’t your shade, you can easily change colours, just open your favourite image editing application (such as GIMP).

In Febuary my desktop looked like this

I am aware that there is still 10 days left this month but anyway, this is how my desktop has looked so far. The biggest change I have done in these screenshots it’s the wallpaper. When it comes to themes I don’t really change it so often, also I really don’t have energy to pimp conkyrc everyday. BTW, in other news, on 1st and 2nd of May you should be in Liverpool, because OggCamp 10 is there too.

5th February

Applications etc…: Gwibber, Network Manager, Pidgin, Volwheel, Tint2, Conky, Pekwm
Gtk, Icons, Pekwm theme: BlackWhite, Simple-Moblin, Greenbars...
