Pino a µ-blogging client
I love µ-blogging and I like using desktop clients instead of just keeping the Twitter or Identi.ca tab open in my browser. Basically I have two requirements for the client: 1) It has to support at least Identi.ca and Twitter both and 2) It has to look nice on my desktop (so in my case it means I prefer using gtk apps. At first I was using Mitter, which is excellent Twitter client and I am still following its development, even though I am not actively using it. Then I was using Gwibber and well it started really well, but ...

I used as a base of this layout Adam Wilcox’s 600px theme (I could probably rename it as 900px). Main reason was that it was one column and looked simple enough for me. I installed also bunch of plugins (I like that Habari is fairly nude and I can just add clothes on it the way I feel like):
- RN Monthly Archives 1.4 (Monthly Archives forced me to learn bit of php stuff, I’d say that is positive thing.)
- Auto-Approve 1.0.0
- Blogroll 0.6-beta (I didn’t first realize that I have to give permission to anonymous group so that I am ...
ncmpcpp config
I thought I could share my ncmpcpp config file with you. Ncmpcpp (also ncmpc++) is console client for MPD, and it bases on ncmpc. MPD can be bit difficult to set up at first but I think it has been the best music playing app for me (even though I use it only in this one computer) with moc.
- ncmpcpp config
- .Xdefaults I thought I’d share also my not very exciting .Xdefaults file. Colours are slightly modded from this thayer’s scheme ...

What is my browser made of?
One might call this the compulsory “my favourite Firefox add-ons” -post. So here are the add-ons I use in alphabetical order.
I’m sure if Firefox is my favourite browser, it’s rather a compromise. Opera for example is way too much and it doesn’t sit very elegantly in my desktop. I tried Chromium couple days ago and well it is very nice but again not really my type. I’d prefer using Midori or Epiphany-webkit (I quite like webkit), which are light and would look pretty (aesthetics are important for me) but they are missing some things that are very important for ...
