Lately in my Linux world
Well… On Sunday I felt sudden urge to try other distros. So I tried to install Fedora, I actually I was able to do that although I am still not quite sure how it happened because the installation process did freeze. But somehow when I had basically given up, took the cd out and was going to boot from my Crunchbang usb stick, instead my computer booted to Fedora. o_O Eventually I ended up in Linux Mint though – XFCE rc edition to be precise. My March included a change. I have been using Xubuntu 9.10 last 11 days (according Identi.ca I dented 11 days ago that I am installing Xubuntu). Reason to this was that my CrunchBang Statler Alpha was unsuccessful. Live worked well but installing from USB stick didn’t work. I wasn’t really in mood for trying something completely different and spend another day for installing and tweaking, so I Xubuntu was my choice.
I have had some audio problems so nothing new there. I won’t go into details in that. I can use Pino which is absolutely fabulous µ-blogging client. Recommending it ...
